3. Using Our Website
You may use our website for lawful personal shopping and information purposes.
You must not:
- Use the website for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
- Attempt to gain access to restricted parts of the website or its supporting systems.
- Introduce viruses, malicious software or other harmful material.
- Interfere with the operation, security or availability of the website.
- Use automated systems to extract substantial amounts of website content without permission.
- Provide false or misleading information when placing an order.
We may restrict access to the website where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the website or London Point Ltd from fraud, misuse or security threats.
4. Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product names, descriptions, specifications, measurements, images, prices and availability information are accurate.
Please review the full product description, dimensions and other information shown on the product page before placing an order.
Colours may appear slightly different depending on your screen settings, lighting conditions and photography. Packaging or minor product details may also change, provided that the product continues to match its description and essential characteristics.
Where a product is offered in different sizes, colours, quantities or configurations, you are responsible for selecting the required option before adding it to your basket.
Nothing in this section affects your rights where a product is faulty, materially different from its description or otherwise does not comply with applicable consumer law.
5. Prices and VAT
All prices displayed on the website are shown in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).
Unless clearly stated otherwise, displayed product prices include applicable UK VAT.
The final amount payable will be displayed during checkout before you submit payment.
Standard delivery is free for eligible UK orders. Any charge for an optional additional service will be clearly displayed before payment.
We may change product prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order that has already been accepted.
6. Placing an Order
To place an order, add the required products to your basket, provide the requested billing and delivery information, select an available payment method and submit your order.
Please check your order carefully before submitting it. You are responsible for ensuring that the products, quantities, delivery address and contact information entered during checkout are correct.
After you place an order, we will send an email acknowledging that we have received it.
The order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order but does not mean that the order has been accepted.
7. Order Acceptance
A contract between you and London Point Ltd is formed when we send a dispatch confirmation or otherwise confirm that we have accepted your order.
If an order contains several products dispatched separately, acceptance may occur separately for each product when it is dispatched.
Please keep your order confirmation, dispatch confirmation and these Terms and Conditions for your records.
8. Payment
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can be processed.
Payments are handled using the payment methods made available during checkout. Payment information may be processed by third-party payment service providers in accordance with their applicable terms and privacy practices.
London Point Ltd does not ask customers to send complete payment card information by email.
If your payment is declined or cannot be verified, your order may not be processed.
9. Product Availability and Order Cancellation by Us
All products are subject to availability.
We may be unable to accept or complete an order where:
- The product is unavailable.
- Payment cannot be authorised or reasonably verified.
- The delivery address is outside our supported delivery area.
- Delivery cannot reasonably be completed at the address provided.
- There is an obvious pricing or product-information error.
- We reasonably suspect fraud, misuse or unauthorised payment activity.
- A legal or regulatory restriction prevents us from supplying the product.
If we cannot accept your order, we will notify you and will not charge you for the affected product.
If payment has already been collected for an order that we cannot complete, the applicable amount will be refunded to the original payment method.
10. Pricing or Product Information Errors
Although we take reasonable care when publishing product and pricing information, errors may occasionally occur.
If we identify an obvious error before accepting your order, we will contact you and give you the option to continue with the corrected information or cancel the affected product.
If we cannot contact you within a reasonable period, we may cancel the affected product and refund any payment already collected for it.
We are not required to supply a product at an obviously incorrect price where the pricing error could reasonably have been recognised as a mistake.
11. Delivery
We currently deliver to eligible addresses within the United Kingdom.
Our normal estimated delivery time is approximately 5–7 working days, consisting of up to 3 working days for order processing and approximately 2–4 working days for delivery after dispatch.
Delivery timeframes are estimates unless a particular delivery date has been specifically agreed with you in writing.
Further information about delivery areas, estimated times, tracking, delays and delivery access is available in our Shipping Policy.
12. Delivery Information and Access
You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and suitable contact details.
If you notice an error after placing your order, contact us as soon as possible. We will try to correct the information before dispatch, but changes may not be possible after processing has started.
For furniture and other large products, please check the product dimensions and ensure that the delivery location can be safely accessed.
You should consider entrances, doorways, hallways, stairs, lifts and any other access restrictions before ordering.
This responsibility does not affect your rights if the dimensions or other material product information supplied on our website were inaccurate.
13. Responsibility for Products During Delivery
London Point Ltd remains responsible for the products until they are delivered to you or to another person you have identified to receive them.
This does not apply where you independently arrange a delivery service that was not offered by London Point Ltd.
Ownership of the products passes to you after we have received full payment for them.
14. Your Right to Cancel
For most products purchased online, you have the right to cancel without giving a reason.
You must notify London Point Ltd that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day you receive the products.
After notifying us, you must return the products within the following 14 days.
Certain products may be excluded from change-of-mind cancellation rights, including products made to your specifications, clearly personalised products, rapidly perishable products and certain sealed hygiene products after the seal has been broken.
Our voluntary 30-day return period may provide additional time for eligible returns. Full information is available in our Returns & Refund Policy.
15. Returns and Refunds
Please contact London Point Ltd before returning a product. We will review your request and provide the correct return address and instructions.
Do not send product returns to our registered office unless we have specifically confirmed that address in writing.
For eligible change-of-mind returns, you may be responsible for the direct return cost as explained in our Returns & Refund Policy.
Where a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method unless another method is required by law or agreed with you.
We aim to process approved refunds within 5 days after receiving the returned products or acceptable evidence that they have been returned, as applicable. Refunds will always be processed within the period required by applicable law.
16. Faulty, Damaged, Incorrect or Misdescribed Products
Products supplied by London Point Ltd must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for any purpose made known to us where applicable.
If a product arrives damaged, is faulty, is incorrect or does not match its description, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Depending on the circumstances and your applicable consumer rights, the available remedy may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or replaces your statutory rights.
17. Exchanges
Eligible products may be exchanged subject to availability.
Please contact us before returning a product for exchange. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we may offer an alternative or provide an eligible refund.
18. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions and discount codes may have separate conditions, including eligibility requirements, minimum order values, product exclusions and expiry dates.
Unless clearly stated otherwise:
- Only one discount code may be used per order.
- A discount code cannot be added after an order has been submitted.
- Discounts have no cash value.
- Discounts apply only during the stated promotional period.
We may amend or end a promotion before an order is placed. Ending a promotion will not change an order that has already been accepted using a valid offer.
We may reject a discount code that has expired, does not meet its stated conditions or is being used fraudulently.
19. Brand Names and Website Content
Product names, brand names, logos and trademarks displayed on the website remain the property of their respective owners.
They are displayed to identify and describe the relevant products. Their appearance on the website does not indicate a partnership, endorsement or affiliation with London Point Ltd.
Website text, graphics, layouts and other original content may be protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
You may use the website for personal shopping purposes. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit website content without permission from the relevant rights holder, except where permitted by law.
20. Third-Party Links and Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites or services, including payment, tracking and social-media services.
Third-party websites operate under their own terms and privacy practices. London Point Ltd is not responsible for content or services provided independently by those third parties.
This does not affect London Point Ltd's responsibility for fulfilling orders placed directly through our website.
21. Privacy and Personal Information
We process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Policy explains the types of personal information we collect, why we use it, how it may be shared and the rights available to you.
22. Website Availability
We aim to keep the website available and operating correctly. However, access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, security updates, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
We do not guarantee that the website will always be available without interruption or error.
Where reasonably possible, we will take steps to restore access and correct significant technical problems.
23. Our Responsibility to You
London Point Ltd is responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions or by our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
Loss or damage is foreseeable where it was an obvious result of our breach or where both you and London Point Ltd knew, when the contract was formed, that it might occur.
We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable or was not caused by our breach.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits our responsibility where doing so would be unlawful. This includes responsibility for:
- Death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
- Faulty products or products that are not as described.
- Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded.
- Your statutory consumer rights.
Products sold through our consumer website are intended primarily for private and domestic use. We are not responsible for business losses such as loss of profit, revenue, contracts, data or business opportunities where a product is purchased for commercial purposes, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
24. Circumstances Outside Our Reasonable Control
Events outside our reasonable control may sometimes delay or prevent performance of our obligations.
Examples may include severe weather, transport-network disruption, industrial action, public emergencies, government restrictions, widespread telecommunications failures or significant systems outages.
If such an event affects your order, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you, reduce the disruption and complete our obligations as soon as reasonably possible.
If a substantial delay occurs, you may have the right to cancel the affected order and receive a refund for products not supplied.
This section does not remove any statutory rights available to you.
25. Customer Communications
We will normally contact you using the email address, telephone number or other contact information provided with your order.
You are responsible for keeping your contact information accurate and for checking order-related communications.
Notices and contractual information may be provided electronically in a format that you can save or print.
26. Complaints
If you are dissatisfied with a product or service, please contact us so that we can review the matter.
When contacting us, please include your name, order number and a clear description of the issue.
We aim to acknowledge customer enquiries within one working day and will make reasonable efforts to resolve complaints promptly and fairly.
27. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes to our website, business operations or legal obligations.
The version that applies to your purchase is normally the version published when you placed your order.
A later change will not remove rights or obligations that already apply to an accepted order unless the change is required by law or agreed with you.
28. If Part of These Terms Is Invalid
Each section of these Terms and Conditions operates separately.
If a court or other competent authority decides that any section is unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.
29. Delay in Enforcing These Terms
If London Point Ltd does not immediately enforce a right under these Terms and Conditions, this does not mean that the right has been waived.
If you do not meet an obligation and we delay taking action, we may still take action at a later date where legally permitted.
30. Governing Law and Courts
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live in England or Wales, legal proceedings may be brought in the courts of England and Wales.
If you live in Scotland, you may bring legal proceedings in Scotland or England and Wales.
If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring legal proceedings in Northern Ireland or England and Wales.
You will continue to benefit from any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
